Report: Biden to discuss EU dependence on Russian fuel

WASHINGTON, Mar 22 (PRIME) -- The E.U. dependence on Russian oil and gas will be the main topic of discussion during a visit of U.S. President Joe Biden to Europe on Thursday, newspaper Politico reported on Tuesday.

According to an E.U. energy source cited by the newspaper, accumulation of a sufficient gas reserve in the storages for the next winter season is a serious issue.

The European authorities insisted on higher production and exports of U.S. fuel, but Washington could not oblige, because the industry is independent.
